New Hampshire Annual Salt Symposiums: Where Commercial Salt
Applicators Come to Learn About Winter Property Management.

Held annually in the fall, the NH Salt Symposiums are hosted
by NH Department of Environmental Services, (NHDES), UNH Technology Transfer
(T2), the Snow and Ice Management Association (SIMA), and several NH winter
maintenance related business. The Symposiums include expert speakers in salt
reduction practices, winter maintenance research, marketing, insurance and
liability, liquid uses, interactive discussion sessions, and an awards
presentation. The presentations are designed especially for anyone that
contracts for snowplowing and deicing.
